Note: My personal favorite for deep level speed factor calculation webpagetest tool. It has a wide range of functionality in comparison to Gtmetrix. On the other side, Gtmetrix is very user-friendly.
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I understand the importance of viewing your speed score to ensure that you provide a smooth experience for your customers. We offer a report that can be viewed directly from your admin section. The report contains additional information such as which pages were analyzed, and how your score compares to the scores of similar Shopify stores. Please follow the steps below:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
In the Online store speed score section, view your speed score.
To view your full speed report, click View report.
Keep in mind, to view the score, disable password protection and wait 1-3 days for it to be calculated. After you receive a report, you can check out our resource here on how your score is calculated as well as any suggestions.
Are you able to share some more details regarding this query? Are you running into any issues with your speed? If so, I’d love to take a look and point you in the right direction.
Our storefront is good as a speed as a UX, but I want to make sure that it is also good for google ranking.
In the past, it was giving me between 18 - 25 using google insights page, I worked on it and increase it to be in 60’s, then Google did some updates where Shopify stores returns an error when using google insights to get the page speed.
I’ve contacted Shopify and get many useful information and articles to read.
I’m just not sure if we should do something more to enhance the website. or If we should hire a shopify expert to do this since each analyzer give a different data.
If it is possible to have a look on our website and give an advice for the next step it will be great.
