What's the best image hosting service for CSV URL uploads?

I am in the process of choosing an Image hosting service.

My requirements are a little unusual.

I do not have suppliers who provide images. I have to take my own.

Currently I have 10,000 plus skus. Each has 10 images 4MG each and am adding products daily.

These images will need optimized to improve page loading speed on Shopify.

So I am hoping for the ability to compress or re-size images and maintain quality.

Categorizing, Indexing and sorting by various data points is also a plus.

Wondering what people on site are using that works for them.

Does anyone have experience with:

  • Cloudinary
  • InMotion
  • ImageBarn

Am I better to set-up a bare metal box and self host?

Is there an off the shelf application I can load on a server?

You can try using graficai to host your images, it can automatically populate the image URLs into your product CSV, saving you a ton of time.
