With regards to your inquiry, are you able to tell us more about what you are currently dealing with on your end? In what context are you mulling over the difference between an article and a blog? Any information that you can share on your end will help us understand your query better and assist accordingly.
To provide a general answer in the meantime, a blog post and an article can be basically the same thing but you can consider the entire website a blog which contains articles and blog posts. To provide you an example, I can have a blog dedicated entirely to plants which means I can write articles/blog posts all about plants which will be published in my blog.
