I want to add my photo on the slider but what is the size?

This is a great question! The Minimal theme slideshow section recommends the image size to be 1280 x 460 px.

I did that and it still doesn’t capture the whole image, it cuts off

Thanks for the quick response.

By default, using the Minimal theme it will automatically adjust the image to fit the resolution of your customers mobile device. We have an awesome article that goes into further details about How to Combat Image Cropping on Shopify Slideshow Sections.

With that being said, we can attempt to change the size of the slideshow section to see if that properly displays the image on the mobile version of your online store. In order to do this, we will need to navigate to the Theme Editor and select on the slideshow section. Once that is done, you should see the option to change the size of the slideshow - I would suggest changing the slide height to Adapt to first slide. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

I am facing the issue of image resolution issue on mobile, desktop and full screen.

Thanks for reaching out.

Just to gather some additional context, have you attempted to resize the image that you are using? The image’s width should be from 1200 to 2000 px, but we recommend a width of 1600 px for optimal display, while the height should be from 400 to 600 px.

Once you have resized the images for the slideshow, I would suggest using the Theme Editor and changing the setting Slide height to Adapt to first slide to see if that allows the full image to be displayed on mobile. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

Thank you so much @Ollie . Issue is resolved as I didn’t select “Adapt to first slide” in my earlier attempts.
