WhatsApp product's thumbnail not displayed in link previews

Hi there

Last days I noticed the image displayed in WhatsApp link previews for all my products is not being displayed anymore.

They were working fine days ago. And this is something only happening to my product links, not page links, when shared via WhatsApp. They work fine on Facebook.

I checked some other Shopify shops around and noticed the same, it’s not only in our shop, it seems there is an issue displaying link thumbnails for products in Shopify.

Facebook debugger scrapped the product links and OG/Meta information looks okay.

Any idea what could be wrong between WhatsApp link previews with shopify product links? They were working great until some days ago.

Im having the same problem but with Whatsapp dekstop app. If I open safari/google chrome on my desktop and copy/paste a product link to the whatsapp desktop app, the preview thumbnail doesn’t appear. But If I use my mobile phone and open safari/google chrome and copy/paste a product link to whatsapp, the preview thumbnail does appear.
¿Where you able to fix the problem?

Did you get any solution for this? For me link preview image shows on whatsapp on ios device but not on android. It works fine on other platforms for both ios/android
