I am curious to find out when are marking the items as fulfilled. Before moving to Shopify, we would mark them fulfilled once delivered. However, there was extra steps such as New Order, Awaiting Collection, Shipped, Delivered.
We use UPS a bit, so I was thinking, if I was to add the tracking number and mark the order as fulfilled. Not send notification to customer. Then would the customer receive the automatic updates when UPS updates tracking? I assume those updates would come the automated emails in Shopify.
Just as note, we do not buy the UPS labels via Shopify, we do it directly on our account.
