When does cost start after setting up a POS system?

I am in the middle of setting my business up but not sure of when I will actually be using my pos shopfify so just wanting to know can I set it up and activate it at anytime and does the cost start at set up or once it is active if that is an option?

With regards to your inquiry, you can 100% set up your online store first before dealing with any of the POS hardware/POS plan activations. You can enable or disable this on your account at your own choosing.
