Hi. I am running an onlineshop with a local warehouse (no dropshipping) and several suppliers. We have a hard time to find the best time to reorder products so we do not run out of stock.
Now we are looking for a shopify app or external software that works with shopify data that does the following:
Step 1) predict when we run out of inventory (based on curring sell rate; ideally it also considers the growth of our shop (we might sell more next month than this month as we grow quite a bit))
Step 2) makes a suggestion when to reorder products to have it back in stock on time based on the prediction and delivery time of the vendor

Hi @domster1337 the Konigle app does exactly the same and also comes with alerts and quick way to create Purchase orders too. You can try it out by signing up and can ping support to get you started.
Thank you For your suggestion. Somehow The app is called „bulk editor“ and does not list the feature in the description. It also asks for more or less all of my data when I want to install it. So unfortunately a pass from my side.
@domster1337 Fair enough. But the app does provide the features, and also asks for data permissions as it provides multiple workflow automations. Would urge you to give it a try.
As you mentioned that you are open to using external software, I’d like to suggest you a central system that will efficiently manage your warehouse operation, OMS, auto-replenishment, stock forecasting based on sales/purchase order, and a lot more.
What you can do is, set up the Odoo ERP which will manage Inventory and order operations. Apart from that, it will be integrated with Shopify via a connector for data exchange. Apart from basic WMS operations, Odoo has the default feature of auto-replenishment based on the minimum and maximum stock quantity set by the user. So, when the stock reaches the minimum quantity, it will alert the user or send the RfQ directly to the assigned vendor.
Apart from this, it is easy to manage Orders, stock, accounting & invoicing based on the sales of the products. Also, you can have custom reporting of various KPIs which may be considered to boost sales.
