I received this message but PayBright is longer in the list of payment providers. When will it be back in the list?
Update required for 1 or more payment providers.
The following versions of these third-party payments integrations are
not compatible with Shopify’s latest checkout. They will no longer be
available after July 31, 2022: PayBright.
Most payment providers have updated their integrations. You can now
upgrade to the latest versions in payment settings.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some guidance with the third-party payment provider, PayBright, to get this resolved. To provide some context, Shopify is in the process of working with all third-party payment providers to ensure they’re updated to work with the new Shopify Checkout.
As you’re seeing this banner within your admin, one or more of your providers (i.e PayBright) is being impacted. They will have until July 31st to update their integration or it will no longer be available on your online store. Most third-party payment providers however, are working to update their integrations to be compatible with Shopify’s latest checkout.
To confirm whether or not your payment provider (i.e PayBright) has been updated, you can view a full list of payment providers by clicking on your country. If PayBright is available,
you can update to your payment providers latest integration by completing the following steps:
From your Shopify Admin, go to Settings > Payments.
In the Supported payment methods section, click Add payment methods.
You can search by payment methods or by provider.
Choose a provider from the list.
Click on “connect” to install the payment app to your store.
Once your account has been created by the provider, click on Activate.
Once you have activated the new app, find your payment provider’s old integration and follow these steps to deactivate the old payment method.
If you’re not seeing PayBright available, I would recommend contacting them directly to confirm whether or not they are in the process of updating their integration. Alternatively, you will have to find a new provider if PayBright decides they do not want to proceed with the update.
