Hello. When will you start supporting UPSMI and Pandion as valid carriers. Right now our orders have the incorrect carrier listed because Shopify doesn’t support these options.
Thanks
Request for native support of UPS Mail Innovations (UPSMI) and Pandion as carriers, as orders currently display incorrect carriers in Shopify.
Latest update: Shopify staff acknowledged the gap and submitted a feature request to the development team; no timeline provided. UPSMI refers to UPS Mail Innovations. A screenshot of the carrier selection UI is attached.
Workarounds:
Related issue: A 3PL (ShipBob) sends UPSMI tracking links to UPS, which don’t work; they should route to USPS.
Guidance:
Status: No resolution yet; feature support remains pending. Action items are to use the “Other” tracking workaround and to reach out to ShipBob for app-level fixes.

Hello, @robbbbbbb .
Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.
I understand that you’d like to have UPSMI and Pandion integrated with Shopify as shipping carriers, and we’d be happy to share your suggestion as a feature request with our development team. Just to confirm, did you mean UPS Mail Innovations?
If so, then you may be able to use UPS as the shipping carrier for UPSMI since it’s part of their wider shipping network. However, if that doesn’t work, then you can also use the Other option and link customers to the tracking page for UPSMI or Pandion for the time being.
I noticed that you’re a new member of our Shopify Community! We’d love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
Just a quick question about this – when tracking links come back from our 3PL (shipbob) to shopify using UPS MI, the tracking link it sends people to is UPS - but this doesn’t work.
It should send people to USPS. Is there a way to correct this?
Hey, @mattcrane .
Thank you for joining the thread!
If you’re fulfilling the orders manually, then you can add a custom link for the tracking numbers when you add them to the orders. However, since the tracking details are provided by ShipBob in your case, then we’d recommend getting help with third-party apps from the app developer and notifying them of this issue. Simply reach out to the app developer using the contact information found at the bottom of their app’s page.
Once you’ve resolved this issue with the app developer, I’d love to hear more about your experience so far and share some resources to help you get started!
