Please add “Modifiers” to Shopify POS. This would allow the POS system to be used in coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants. As of now, the system is unusable for these types of businesses. Thank you.
Another missing feature for metafields is that the URL metafield type input should work as the URL field type input type, making it easy to link products, pages, etc.
The missing features are not only the picker, also the relative paths and the linked object reference.
Thank you! came here just to be able to have this feature requested … !!
I love manually adding 300 new ingredients I already have nicely written in in Excel. And manually adding them to other Shopify sites .. AGAIN?!
It’s annoying that Shopify does have a central space for feature requests in which shop owners could upvote.
I came here looking for updates if Shopify intends to add the ability to add new line items to existing orders and the ability to update shipping methods and costs on existing orders. Simple options that have existed elsewhere for years.
I would greatly appreciate if we get the option to create a collection of specific variants of product even if we have to manually select the variants.
Far too many people are looking for variants collections and discounts on variants so if we can create a collections based on variants instead of products then a lot of problems will be resolved. To be fair all we need is an extra filter when we create collections and so many problems will be resolved.
Hi Luna,
You can pass on to your product team that we’d also like to be able to follow feature requests. This thread on Billing Address is a good example of how it would be helpful to not just customers but also support staff having to answer questions. The suggestion in the thread was to watch the changelog, which is neither practical nor, I imagine, popular advice to have to give as support staff:

Thanks
Hi @Luna_1 ,
I didn’t find a space for feedback or feature requests so I am sending this here:
I noticed, that whenever I type in the custom CSS input field the changes trigger a reload of the page directly, which then also affects the typing. So e.g. typing: “padding-top” becomes “ing-top:p” or similar as the page reload cuts the typing. E.g. in the screenshot I was typing “font-size”.
This should be a simple fix of just call the reload function onBlur (when the input field is left) and onKeydown with filter for enter events (when the enter key is pressed) instead of onChange. Maybe you could pass this to your development team?![]()
The current behavior is really annoying as we have to create the styles in a text file somewhere and then paste the complete style into the custom CSS field instead of editing in the theme editor directly.
Thank you!
Hi! I have a feature request for the Shipment Details in Purchase Orders. It would be helpful to have the option for multiple tracking numbers on the same purchase order.
I have multiple vendors who send multiple packages on the same PO without a master tracking number.
I guess this is a dead thread? Seems like Luna already got tired to respond to all those countless requests which are chaotically dropped on some random threads in a forum community filled with thousands of users. There’s no structure, there’s no map, no nothing.
Considering that Shopify is a leading e-commerce platform, it’s disappointing to see that they don’t have, at least, a simple method to track various feature requests and collect votes on them. They are running billions, and don’t have the budget for a couple developers to get their heads and build such a quick forum in a week or two?
They probably think that taking on user feedback is derailing them from their own product vision. But that’s not true: 1. they already take some feedbacks from these forums around; 2. they don’t have to consider every single suggestion, just the ones that are highly voted for or that they think think will work for their product vision.
Other platforms like Wix have had such feature requests portals for many years, and have improved dramatically over the recent years due to the orderly and organised user feedback. They have a clear roadmap, and a lot of feature launches announced every week, and every month, and every quarter. Users stay happy, product develops in a healthy direction based on user pain points.
We, the Shopify users, are being left in the dark, not knowing what to expect even in the near future.
And I can’t believe I have to state this simple fact, when they should have people in the leadership team who should be aware of all these staple requirements for a product’s community to function properly. Disappointing.
Hi Luna,
Please give Self-Serve Returns some attention.
Please add the ability to edit and customize the return reasons. Also, add options that let merchants choose whether photo uploads and descriptions are required or optional for each individual return reason.
I’m tired of dealing with crappy third-party apps for something this basic. Shopify already has a built-in returns feature, but in its current state, it’s practically useless. A feature this simple should have been included in Shopify from the start.
Right now, neither customers nor merchants are happy. Merchants are forced to rely on unreliable third-party apps just to get basic return functionality. This shouldn’t be necessary. Please improve the built-in returns system.
