Hi, @IsDaLP !

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

You mentioned that you are interested in selling affiliate courses and would like to find links to sell these items. Are you able to provide some additional information in regards to the workflow of your business model? This will allow me to provide a more tailored response and I will be able to understand your requirements. For instance, are you looking to promote and sell courses on your Shopify store? Or are you looking to become an affiliate partner and promote other people’s courses?

On the topic of affiliates, we do have a great guide on How to Create a Successful Affiliate Program for Your Business, if you’re interested.

Feel free to reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further!

Hey @Mac_2

Thanks for the quick reply.

I want to promote other people’s affiliate courses. Or is there other things sold as online products that are more effective?

Hi again, @IsDaLP .

Thank you for following up!

Since you mentioned you are looking to promote other creators affiliate courses, you will likely need to reach out directly to a member on that team to send you a personalized affiliate link. From there, every time you assist with a purchase of the course, you will be compensated. This business model comes down to how effective your marketing strategies are and would often involve managing many different campaigns simultaneously. For instance, here are 11 digital marketing strategies that you will likely need to implement. Let me know if this interests you and I’d be happy to discuss how Shopify can help centralize your marketing efforts.

On the other hand, there are countless products and categories that can be effective in many markets. Product research is the first step to finding the right product and will help determine if it will be successful or not. This process helps identify customer needs and if your idea can meet market demand. We have a great resource on this called The 15-Step Checklist for Finding Profitable, In-Demand Product Ideas that talks about this in more detail.

Hi again, @IsDaLP !

Thank you for following up with your question. I’m happy to provide some additional information.

Email marketing is a great way to communicate with your customers and update them with new content and promotions. It’s a very good method to help with customer retention and increase loyalty to your brand. Your first step is to build your customer lists by collecting customer contact information. This is crucial as for legal and privacy reasons, your promotional material should only be sent to customers who have agreed to receive marketing from your online store. The most efficient method to do this is by promoting your newsletter sign-up on your online store. This can be done in a variety of ways through Newsletter Pop up apps and you can use an incentive based model that allows you to offer a discount code upon set up.

We have a really awesome resource that covers everything about Email marketing called "Everything from List Building to Advanced Lifecycle Automation" that covers these topics in depth.

Feel free to check that out and let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi, we just published a new app for Network Marketing - Cross Site Promotions. After your store gets a new order, the app offers other stores promotions as a coupon code.

While using this app, you can get more traffic from other stores as well.

Greetings IsDaLP

Hi, @IsDaLP !

Thank you for the update. Are you currently running into any issues with registering your business, or awaiting to meet certain criteria? Either way, we have an informative guide on How to Register a Business, which I recommend checking out.

Depending on your circumstances, you might be able to make your first sale and set up your store without officially registering your business. Although, incorporating and registering your business makes it official in the eyes of the government and of your customers, and it can offer protections that a sole proprietorship doesn’t.

Please do keep in mind that the guide is for informational purposes only and it is always best to consult independent legal advice and your own tax advisor for information specific to your country and circumstances.

Let me know if you have any questions!
