Where can I find the assets/theme.css file for code additions?

I’m new and I’m trying to implement a few tweaks. I’ve found various solutions that appear to provide the css code I need but I cannot find where to add the code in the editor. They all say to add code in the: assets/theme.css file but I can’t find it.

you have added your custom css code

  1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
  2. Asset->/base.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
