I am trying to see where and if each file i have stored in Files is located somewhere on my site. I used them when i first started but i don’t use much of it now and i want to clear it out. Just want to be sure that the files are not used anywhere. Is there a way to check this?

I do not think there is a way to check if the files in the settings is being use or not, other than seeing it in the website. You can also try to search the files in your website but that would be a tedious work

Great question!
Files can include the following:
- Images and videos used in your theme, blog posts, and pages
- Images and videos used in your product and collection descriptions
- Files and videos that you want to make available for customers to download
- Images and files connected to Metafields
Note: When you create or edit a product or collection, you can add product media or a featured image for a collection. Product media and featured images for collections don’t appear on the Files page.
At this point in time, there is no simple way to be able to directly correlate each file with its destination without manually searching for file names within your website. Therefore you would want to be extra careful when it comes to deleting any of these files just in case they are connected to any of the sections mentioned above.
