Over the past 6 months, my staff and I have increasingly seen more issues appear while within the Shopify Admin and Shopify Phone Apps. Is there somewhere to be reporting these issues? They seem to be building up and none of them are getting resolved. Here are some of the issues that we are experiencing:
- In Shopify Admin, after duplicating a variant, when we drag and drop an image for the new variant it continues to retain the previous image. Our workaround is to click on the image and reselect it. The issue starting happening in May 2023.
- In Shopify App, while clicking on a product in an order and selecting “View Inventory” the SKU does not display (the SKU is empty even though there is a SKU assigned). We have no workaround for this issue. Our staff use the SKU to double check the barcode and verify that the correct item is being physically selected to be packaged. This issue started happening in July 2023.
- In Shopify App, when trying to modify the shipping address of an order, I’m able to switch between the address fields and enter/modify text, but when I click on SAVE or CANCEL, nothing happens. The address cannot be saved, and now the app seems to have crashed, and I need to close and reopen the app. No workaround in the app. This issue started happening September 2023.
- In Shopify App, within a product, overall the user interface doesn’t seem to reliably respond to clicks. When trying to click on the quantity available for a product, sometimes I will need to click 10+ times for it to open the inventory quantity screen, and sometimes it opens in 3 clicks. Similarly this happens to other areas within a product. The workaround is to keep clicking until it works. This issue started happening in July 2023.
These and other bugs/issues really just started becoming more persistent within 2023. Prior to this, the app seemed stable. These issues, in addition to the removal of Phone Call support, has brought alot of frustration to me as a Shopify Merchant.
