Where did the inventory quantity field go to on the product page?

Help - Where did the inventory quantity field go to on the product page?

I’m not able to adjust the inventory on the product page anymore. When I click on “inventory history” and the item has not history, I can’t change it there.

I don’t have any variants and I work from only ONE location.

Shopify: Why did this change? Yet another step is added here where it doesn’t need to be. Very frustrating.

Hi @Janit_Calvo

can you please share your store URL?

I’m at TwoGreenThumbs.com but I was referring the back-end product pages. I’m missing something…

The new inventory adjustment is frustrating, unnecessary and yet another example of Shopify prioritising cosmetic changes rather than actual useful changes.

How could they provide a list of options for an inventory change - but not include “Sale”? (as in Sold, not “discounted”

Useless.

(Assuming you are on desktop). It’s not a very intuitive update, but you can change the quantity by clicking the number under Available. It should pop-up a box where you can “Adjust by” and that will update the “New” box. Make sure you hit Save in that pop-up otherwise it isn’t updated…

Thanks Mts0001. That’s it.

Wow, it adds another annoying couple of steps while trying to hold down a busy micro business. Thanks Shopify! [Not.]

Agreed. When we’re trying to enter a batch of 100 products, those additional unnecessary clicks add up. Annoying.
