Persistent storage of customs value for shipping labels is unclear. The user adds an item value during label creation and selects “Save to product details,” but is prompted again on the next label as if it wasn’t saved.
They seek the location/field in the product details where the customs (declared) value can be stored so it persists and unlocks shipping service options without re-entry.
No settings, workarounds, or confirmations are provided. No resolution yet; the question remains open.
Where in the product can I store the customs value?
Every time I create a shipping label it asks “Add item value to customs declaration to see shipping services.” So I click that, add a value and check the box that says “Save to product details”.
Next time I create a label, same thing, it asks me for item value for customs declaration.
