Hey @Bobbie_Floerchi @wildedawn to my knowledge Shopify doesn’t enable a direct scan of an inventory item to add quantity to stock.
If you’ve been having challenges you should try SKUSavvy which will enable scanning to stock, as well as purchasing, check-in and receiving, inventory locations, and full pick-pack-ship workflow so you can get rid of several apps and replace them with a single platform.
Using SKUSavvy is easy! Simply create an account, and connect to Shopify which will bring down your orders, customers, locations, products, and inventory, then you can allocate items to a bin location. Once you’re orders come in, you can batch the orders together or handle single orders by going through a digital pick-list, then packaging them up, selecting a shipping label, and printing it off. Each order once fulfilled will update the status and tracking information back to Shopify as well as keep accurate data between Shopify.
It’s free for less than 50 orders, then scales directly between $0.19-$0.10 per order. Full demo video here.
