Hello guys , i live in Russia and i want to ask if i want to start a shop we cant make an paypal account so someone in germany will make an account on a german number, so where i should pay taxes ? Here in Russia or in Germany, sorry if its stupid question but i am new

I definitely understand your question and I can share some insight into that. Firstly, it is important to know that Shopify is temporarily suspending operations in Russia and Belarus, including restricting any new signups from merchants located in Russia. We will continue to monitor events on the ground as they evolve and comply with applicable restrictions as they are announced.
Once the restrictions are resolved, you would want to pay taxes in whatever country your business is registered in. If the business is registered in Russia, that is where you would pay your taxes to. Every country you sell to outside of your own does have their own requirements though and may have certain thresholds that make it necessary to also charge taxes there as well. This is usually based on the volume of sales made to that country.
