which cookies are responsible for "saving" the customers email within the abandoned checkout system?

Hi,

As the title says i’m looking for the information about the cookie(s) that are responsible for tracking a customers email in order to be used by the abandoned checkout system.

Is this system GDPR friendly or do i need to activate the checkmark in the checkout progress for a customer to opt in for marking emails?

We have some public documentation regarding tracking cookies, GDPR policy, and overall privacy concerns HERE. We do have available configurations that will allow a given shop to be in line with GDPR stipulations for gathering marketing consent.
