Please I wanted to ask. We are merchants with a company in UK but live in Morocco. While registering for a Shopify account, they ask us to enter a country at first. Which country should we enter? And can we run a Shopify store in UK while living in Morocco?

You can absolutely run a Shopify store in the UK while living in Morocco, but when it comes to using payment gateways you would need to meet certain regional requirements. For example, if you’re using Shopify Payments, you would need to meet our eligibility requirements.
You are also personally responsible for your tax obligations, meaning that you will need to remit your taxes to the UK government as Shopify will not do that.
