Which currency is used for ApplicationCharge requests?

Does anyone know which currency is used for ApplicationCharges?

I don’t see a way to specify currency, but it’s important that they’re either in USD or we know exactly which currency will be used so we can convert. I’m not sure if we have to query the shop creating the ApplicationCharge to find their native currency, if it’s always in a specific currency like USD or CAN, etc.

Bonus question: if you know of a way to receive webhooks for successful payments using the REST API (rather than GraphQL) that would be great to know as well.

It looks like all Shopify billing was handled in USD back in 2017, so I’m guessing this still applies? Would someone from Shopify’s staff please confirm that this is still the case?
