Standard procedure with our shop is that when customers make a purchase, they can either select to click and collect or they can select to have their purchase delivered. In order to get their items delivered, they must call the office to arrange this.
I’m looking for an email reminder that means I can go into their order details and slick submit to send them an email reminder if they have not called to arrange delivery.
Shopify pointed me in the direction of an app called Reminder but I can’t work out how to make it do what I want, or if it does.
Can anyone recommend an app that woud do the job please?
Hi @FayMc1 ,
I’m happy to do the app for you this week and publish with some reasonable subscription. Please let me know on knapcio@gmail.com to discuss the details.
Cheers
Hi!
I would suggest using SMS messages for reminding customers about abandoned carts, selecting a delivery, shipping updates and other such things. SMS is proven to be more effective than emails - SMS open rate is 98% and usually people act on the messages within the first 90 seconds of delivery. Emails on the other hand have an open rate around 20% and the average response time stays around 90 minutes.
VertexSMS has been in the business for almost 15 years and can definitely offer you a solution that you are after - you can set up SMS notifications and reminders to be triggered by almost any desired action.
Hi @knapcio
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, I’m not in the position to be able to pay for any service; as I work for a charity, I can only use an app that si free.
Thank you for your kind offer though
Hi Vita
Thank you so much for your reply.
SMS reminders would also work for sure; however as I work for a charity, I’m looking for an app that is free.
