We provide you with the ability to configure your store for compliance and we’re continuously developing our services to offer you the tools to maintain that. With that being said, you must consider which obligations you need to fulfill and how to set up your business in order to meet those.

We have many details about our app on our website here, as well as many articles on our help center here finally, a complete list of features is here.

In general, to become compliant with data regulations, a merchant needs to follow some basic steps. Of course, a banner is not the only requirement of GDPR and the other laws; the merchant needs to have a privacy policy page - something that Shopify already offers with the free privacy policy generator. Finally, he needs to follow a strict policy which means that all the non-strictly required tracking technologies (cookies, pixels, local storage) need to be blocked before consent is given.
