Many brands optimize homepage and ads but forget product pages.
Do you A/B test your product pages, or leave them as they are?
Interesting question. But what do you mean by forget product pages? The product page is more important than the homepage; that is where the sale happens, mostly. And yes homepage is important, but you really need to finish the flow for the customer on the product page. A/B testing is a great tool for getting results and seeing what works and what doesn’t, leaving a great impression on customers.
So yes, we are building from start product page that converts good, but we iterate with A/B testing on some sections or blocks when we see user interactions over time.
What is your experience with A/B testing any product page that gives good results?
How exactly do you A/B test a product page? Are you duplicating your pages and changing or rearranging certain sections or blocks? Or are you waiting until a data set returns from 1 design, and then sending out a different design?
That seems like a complete waste of time, and rather counter-intuitive to the idea of “optimizing”.
