Hi Shopify Community,
Currrently I am having a problem with the way my featured product images are being shown on shopify there is a massive white space between the displayed image and the image carousel.
Can someone please help resolve this issue.

I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! Could you let us know which theme you are using?
If you are unsure about which theme is live on your online store, you can navigate to the Theme Editor and select the three dots that are appearing towards the top left of the page. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

Based on Human Factor International’s research, white space helps increase the comprehension factor by nearly 20%. Added white space gives emphasis to your call to action buttons and key information. White space lets your visitors breathe and appreciate the website better since things are laid out well and easy to spot. A great article for reference on this research is Why Whitespace is so Important in Web Design. With that being said, I can certainly see that the space is large enough to cause your customers to scroll.
Looking into the Debut theme, I noticed that removing the white space is not available using the Theme Editor. However, you could make a change to the themes coding to have this space removed. Since the Debut theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to have our internal team make the changes on your behalf.
If you are interested in using the design time, you will need to login to your online store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before speaking to a Support Advisor about the changes you would like to see.

Once you successfully login to your store using the Contact Us page, you will be directed to the Help Center. You can select on the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak with an Advisor.
Select Starting a store and scroll down to view the options to reach out to our authenticated support.
