I am looking to add a wholesale section to my shopify. I am a very small business. I don’t need many functions just wholesale sign up form, ideally, and the ability to charge customers in USD and CND. All my products are essentially 50% off for wholesale so the pricing isn’t complicated. Any suggestions for the most inexpensive app that functions well.

You can use a third-party wholesale app to create the 50% wholesale pricing. However, the ability to charge in different currencies will come down to your payment gateway. If you’re using Shopify Payments, then you can sell and get paid in different currencies, For most other payment gateways, you can consider using a currency converter as the store can only charge in one default currency.

I was hoping someone would suggest a particular app that had success there are a few I have looked at but the pricing is different. For a tiny business, with simple wholesale need, I don’t want to spend large amounts monthly.
@GrantP24 If you are still looking for a solution I will suggest you to use the Discount Depot App, which will allow you to display the wholesale price to wholesale customers. It does support multi-currency.
For the wholesale sign-up form, I will suggest you to create a simple page where in a customer can come and sign up as a wholesale customer, and once he submits the form you will receive the same. You can approve him as a wholesale customer and assign him the wholesale tag and accordingly, he will be shown the wholesale prices.

This would not help you directly with applying discounts, however one option that could help you with wholesale registration would be something like our Customer Fields app. With Customer Fields, you can create a custom registration form to install separately from your standard DTC registration, with features like collecting additional data from wholesale applicants or requiring approval before they gain access. Additionally, you can use the Customer Fields app to automatically apply a customer tag, which some discount apps can use to automatically apply a discount to any customer with a certain tag.
