Why am I being charged annually for my basic Shopify plan?

Hi guys

i chose the 27/mo Basic plan on Shopify and selected monthly payment now it says i will be charged 292€ i dont want to pay the whole year right away and i dont want to deactivate my store what should i do?

Hi @graphics123 ,

Although I cannot access your store and check this myself, it does appear from your screenshots that your store is set to an annual billing cycle rather than a monthly one. I would recommend contacting our support team as soon as possible so they can authenticate you on the store, check your subscription, and help you change to a monthly billing cycle before you are charged tomorrow (January 7th, 2022).

You can reach out to our support team through the Shopify Help Center. Please let me know if you have any issues getting in touch.

Hi @graphics123 ,

Fantastic! I’m delighted to hear that you were able to get the help you needed.

Hello Victor,

I’m sorry for answering in this thread. I have a small question about the pricing plans of an app on Shopify. Hope that you can answer me.

May I have plans like: Free, Paid 1, Paid 2 and Paid 3 with the trial time for each Paid plan?

For example:

Free plan: limit 50 orders

Paid 1: ~500 orders

Paid 2: ~1000 orders

Paid 3: Unlimited

each paid plan will have 7-trial days.

Is this possible?

Hi @stella711 ,

Thank you for getting in touch. Are you asking about subscription options for your own store, or are these plan offerings you want to offer your customers?

All new Shopify stores receive a 14-day trial as standard, after which a paid plan must be chosen. We also do not limit the amount of orders that can be received by a merchant on any Shopify plan. You can read more about our plans, their prices and their features on our pricing page.

Please provide more details on what you are looking for if this does not answer your question.
