Hello everyone, I’ve completed the set up of my store however I am having difficulties with shipping as shown by an error message when I tried a test run
“This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again.”
I keep seeing this in my checkout page, I have
Set up shipping rates for 3 countries as part of shopify shipping baby steps
Performed a bulk edit and changed all my products to “requires delivery”
but still it is not working, I’m I missing something.
Hi, @jeffy . I’m happy to help you out with this! I just have a few questions to make sure I give you the best advice for your situation.
Which 3 countries do you ship to? Are all 3 countries in the same shipping zone or are they separated into their own shipping zones?
Which rates are you offering your customers? Are you only using calculated shipping rates with Shopify Shipping? Or are you using flat shipping rates as well?
Have you tested your checkout with any other products or shipping addresses? If so, does this error appear for all orders you attempt, or only some of them?
When this error message happens it typically means that the product(s) in your cart are having trouble making a clear path to a shipping rate. There’s a few reasons this could be happening. To start troubleshooting I would recommend the following:
Ensure all of your products are in shipping profiles. You can find your shipping profiles by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery. You can also read more about shipping profiles on this page.
Confirm that you’ve set up your shipping zones and shipping rates correctly for all of the locations you want to ship from. You can find your shipping zones and rates by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery and clicking Manage next to the shipping profile you want to view. You can read more about setting up shipping zones here and you can read more about setting up shipping rates on this page.
If you are using price based shipping rates, confirm that your rates cover all order total possibilities. For example, if you only have one rate set up as “free shipping on orders $50 and up”, but you are trying to check out with an order less than $50, there would be no rates to show and you would receive that error message.
Confirm that the product(s) being purchased are set up properly to inform which shipping rates should apply. For example, on the product details page double check that the setting This is a physical product or Requires shipping is enabled for all products that need to be shipped. It sounds like you’ve already done this, but it’s still good to double check.
If you are using weight-based shipping rates or calculated shipping rates you will also want to double check that all products have their weight entered into the Weight field on the product page.
Make sure that your products and variants have inventory at the locations you are shipping from. You can find this by going to Products and clicking on the product you want to view. Under the Inventory section you will see a list of your locations and the amount of inventory you have at each location. You can also read more about assigning inventory to locations on this page.
