I do have a few questions that would help me tailor my replies later on. Is this store being aimed at a specific community local to you, or are you open to getting sales internationally? Do you have any social media channels that you market or engage with?

Beyond that, I have taken a look at your site and it does have a great minimalist aesthetic, however, I think you might do a lot better if you have your messaging front and center.
Are you aiming your products to meet the eyes of eager parents looking to provide books for their children, or are you looking for a more broad approach?
You can use the phrasing that you feel would best speak to the audience you are looking to attract, then move that text near the top of the store so people first get to see who you are and what you stand for so they can feel good about browsing your store and purchasing from you.
