Why am I not getting sales on my tech-focused online store?

Hey everyone,

I have a store i have been running focusing mainly on Virtual reality gadgets & some other products. I have posted ads on social media with thousands of impressions, hundreds of clicks but no sales so far.

I recently fixed an issue with the add to cart by editing the code and now it works so well.

I would like to know if the issue is my product or what else i can do to generate sales. Any tips would be appreciated.

Website is : metaskytech.com

Thanks!

Hi @MetaSky ,

Congratulations on getting launched! And while it’s excellent that you have impressions and clicks on Social Media, I empathize with the frustration at not getting any sales.

It sounds like you have a good handle on how paid advertising works, so I’ll ignore that element and focus on the core of the issue: the brand.

You see, there’s no point in pouring money into adverts if you do not have a solid brand mission, a message that conveys your purpose, and if you don’t know who the ideal customers are that you’re targeting.

So it’s great that you do appear to have a mission, which is to make virtual reality accessible to everyone - excellent!

However, the question on everyone visitor’s lips is going to be: why?

Why is virtual reality important? Why are you trying to introduce the world to virtual reality? Why do I need these products to do that? Why should I care?

You absolutely need to come up with a mission statement for your brand that answers all these questions. Here is how to write a Mission Statement.

After that, I would check out our excellent post on how to earn Buyer Trust which has a list of fundamentals (I cannot stress how important they all are) that will help establish authority for your brand.

Does this all make sense? Let me know if you have any questions!
