Why am I not receiving data on Google Analytics after updating my website?

Hi,

I update the website with new pages and collections. In the same time I added a code to collection-template.liquid for splitting the text on the collection page.

Code is:

{{ collection.title }}

{% if collection.description != blank %} {% if collection.description contains ''%}
{{ collection.description | split: '' | last }} {% else %} {{ collection.description }} {% endif %}
{% endif %}

Now, I don’t get any data on Google Analytics and Google Ads. I don’t understand what’s going on there.

Google suggest me to do this but I am not sure.

  • The Analytics tag is a snippet of JavaScript that collects and sends data to Analytics from a website.

  • You can add the Analytics tag directly to the HTML of each page on your site, or indirectly using a tag management system such as Google Tag Manager.

  • Check the tracking code and place it properly on all the newly created pages on the website.

Could you please help me to understand what happened on the website?
