Why am I not receiving email notifications for sales anymore?

I use to get an email every time there was sale in my shop, now I don’t. Which setting is it that I need to check so that I get an email when there’s a sale?

Go to Settings > Notifications > Look for “Staff order notifications” > Add recipient.

Any idea why when you have this set up is doesn’t work and emails dont arrive yet the test ones do?
