When trying to add items to a Sales Channel, I discovered that one item did not have a description. I added a description to the item, and received the following error:
"There is 1 error with this product:
The following image IDs do not exist or do not belong to the product: 33205903229126,33205903327430,33205903851718,33205903950022,33205904310470,33205904638150,33205904736454,33205905064134"
It should be noted that I did not add any images, just a description. Any images referenced were there before the description was added, and the error did not appear when the item was originally created. So why am I getting this error message?
This is known to happen when there is a duplication of some sort. Whether it’s a product that was mistakenly duplicated or a two products that contain the same image. You’ll want to check and make sure there are no duplications, resolve any that exist and this should take care of the error message.
What sales channel are you working with? There should be a handful of resources accessed via Google that’ll walk you through the specific steps to resolve duplicates.
It turns out the item had shipping problems, plus the shipping costs were more than the cost of the item itself, so I wound up removing the item from my store. But thank you for your assistance.
