Why am I seeing an 'Unsupported Browser' message in my admin panel?

Hi Everyone,

Since this morning, I am getting the following message when I go to any page in the Shopify Admin.

I checked and made sure that my browser is up to date, and also tried using other browsers as well and I am still getting that message.

Try to delete your cookies and cache files:
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95589?hl=en . If that does not work, You can also try to create a new profile in your Chrome.

Also confirm your Windows/Mac is up to date.

I understand as of this morning you’re unable to navigate within your Shopify admin due to the above message. This message is due to older operating systems not supporting the most recent version of your browser. I’ll share our help resource for better visibility on our full list of Supported browsers.

If you’ve already updated your browser and the message is still displayed, then you’ll need to clear your cache and completely restart your browser. From there you can retry logging into your Shopify admin.

Could you let us know if you’re still experiencing the same message after trying the above steps?

Thanks for your reply. I did clear the cache and restarted the browser but the same problem is occurring.

I just realized that this is only happening when I right-click on a link to open in a new Tab

You could also try on another web browser, and within the browser’s incognito mode. This can help eliminate the browser or version of the browser providing errors. When using incognito, if you are still experiencing a display issue, confirm you have disabled browser extensions as these can change how the pages look.
