Why am I seeing discrepancies in my CSV import report?

Hello,

I imported a CSV file with 7754 items, I’ve been doing so for a long time, so far without any issues.

Today, after importing I got this report:

  • 7,683 products were modified
  • 70 products couldn’t be changed due to invalid information

To import products that couldn’t be updated, fix any errors in the CSV file and try importing it again.

I don’t understand a few things:

  1. It says “70 products couldn’t be changed due to invalid information” but the count from line 2087 to 2296 is 209 products so what is the “failed” mean?

  2. Where can I find these 70 products that were not changed?

  3. Before importing the new products I added a specific tag, after this happened I exported only the products with this tag and I see the number of products are the same(!) as the original import - how can that be if 70 products were not changed and 209 failed??
