I have been facing some issues with my Shopify stores, I have multiple stores and domains on Shopify that I bought from Google Domains and it has been over a week since I’ve been trying to connect and transfer these Domains to Shopify.
The Errors that keep popping up are ‘SSL Pending’ and when the page is clicked it shows ‘Too Many Redirects Error’. Please provide a step by step solution asap, as I have customers waiting and the stores need go live! Also I couldn’t find any Customer Support Contact on Shopify to call.
I understand that you’re experiencing issues with connecting and transferring your domains to Shopify, and you’re encountering SSL pending errors and “Too Many Redirects” errors. I’ll provide you with some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve these issues and get your stores live as soon as possible.
Verify domain ownership: Ensure that you have properly verified your domain ownership in Shopify. This involves confirming that you own the domain by adding the necessary DNS records or modifying the domain settings. You can find detailed instructions on how to verify your domain in Shopify’s documentation.
Check SSL certificate status: To resolve the SSL pending error, go to your Shopify admin dashboard and navigate to Online Store > Domains. Make sure the SSL certificate is properly provisioned for your domains. If you see a “SSL pending” message, wait for some time as it can take a while for the certificate to be issued. If the issue persists after waiting, try the next step.
Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, cached data or cookies in your browser can cause issues. Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try accessing your Shopify store in an incognito or private browsing window to see if the error persists.
Check domain DNS settings: Ensure that the domain’s DNS settings are correctly configured. In your Google Domains account, check that the DNS records are pointing to the correct Shopify servers. You can find the necessary DNS settings in Shopify’s documentation or by contacting Shopify support.
Remove any conflicting redirects: The “Too Many Redirects” error can occur if there are conflicting redirects set up for your domain. Check your Shopify admin dashboard under Online Store > Navigation or Online Store > Redirects to ensure that there are no conflicting redirect rules in place.
Contact Shopify support: If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, it’s recommended to reach out to Shopify support for further assistance. While there isn’t a direct phone support line, you can contact them through their live chat or email support channels. To access these options, visit the Shopify Help Center and search for “contact support.” Shopify’s support team should be able to provide more specific guidance and help you troubleshoot the issue.
I hope these steps help you resolve the issues with your Shopify stores and domains. Best of luck, and I hope your stores go live soon!
