Why are all of my pages linked to one page when I have linked them to their own individual page

Topic summary

  • Issue: In a new Shopify store, several custom pages (About Us, FAQ, Store Hours) all open the About Us page, despite each menu item being linked to its own page. Collection links in the navigation work correctly.

  • Context: The store owner created separate pages and used the default page template (not an About Us-specific template) but still sees all these links lead to the About Us page.

  • Support request: A helper asked for the store URL to inspect the issue and followed up to see if assistance is still needed.

  • Artifacts: No screenshots, code, or theme settings were shared.

  • Status: Unresolved/ongoing. Next step: share the store URL so a reviewer can verify the menu link targets, assigned page templates, and theme configuration.

I am new to Shopify and have been making a store for a clothing brand. I set up a navigation with different collections and they all work fine but for other pages such as about us, FAQ or store hours all are linking to the about us page. I created a page for a bunch of these various links and have linked the links to each individual page. When I set up the pages I used the default page not the about us page. Any idea why all of the links are going to the about us page?
