I’m not sure what’s going on but for some reason, all the Themes on my online store seem to be corrupted when I go to view my store, everything is blown out of proportion and wont show pictures I uploaded I thought maybe it has something to do with my Domain certification in process. any help is much appreciated.
If your Shopify store’s theme appears distorted and images aren’t displaying, it may be due to an SSL certificate issue. An SSL certificate ensures secure connections; if it’s pending, browsers might block certain content, leading to display problems.
Steps to Resolve:
1- Check SSL Certificate Status:
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.
- Ensure your domain shows as “Connected” and the SSL status is “Provisioned”. If it reads “SSL Pending,” it indicates the certificate isn’t active yet.
2- Allow Time for SSL Provisioning:
- After connecting a domain, SSL provisioning can take up to 48 hours. If it’s been less than this, wait and monitor the status.
3- Verify DNS Settings:
Ensure your domain’s DNS records are correctly configured:
- A Record: Points to Shopify’s IP address 23.227.38.65.
- CNAME Record: The ‘www’ CNAME should point to shops.myshopify.com.
Incorrect DNS settings can delay SSL certification.
4- Clear Browser Cache:
- Cached data might display outdated information. Clear your browser cache and revisit your store to see if the issue persists.
5- Contact Shopify Support:
- If the SSL status remains pending after 48 hours, reach out to Shopify Support for assistance. They can investigate and manually provision the certificate if necessary.
By following these steps, you can address the display issues on your store. Ensuring your SSL certificate is active is crucial for proper theme functionality and secure customer interactions.
If you have other questions, feel free to ask, and I will answer them as well.
