Why are customers selecting unlisted shipping methods on my site?

We have 4 shipping methods selected and they are all for FedEx. FedEx 2 Day AM, FedEx 2 Day, FedEx Express and FedEx Ground. Some orders are coming through with the other shipping methods then the ones listed. We just received an order and they selected USPS Media Mail Parcel for their preferred shipping method. How is this happening when we don’t have that selected as an option for them to pick from?

When you go to your shipping settings, what options do you see? A common cause of this is if you have another ‘Shipping Profile’ that you are unaware of that contains a set of shipping methods in there that is giving the customer the ability to select that. Looks like:
