My customers contacting me letting me know they are receiving an error when checkout. I will attach a screenshot of the error. I also attempted to do a checkout on my website and had the same address when entering my personal address. Can someone please help. I need to resolve this issue because I am losing sales.
Hi, @LaLuCandles .
I don’t quite see a screenshot on your post here, so are you able to repost your image so that we can take a look at the error message you’re seeing on your end?
In the meantime, I went through some troubleshooting steps in regards to a checkout issue on this Community Forum thread. You can go through the steps I listed there to see if that will resolve your issue. You can also double check your products on cart and ensure that they’ve been marked as a physical product within the product page on your store’s Shopify admin, so that they’re eligible to be shipped. Check out the Shipping section of this help guide for more information on this.
Do you also have access to Shopify Markets on your store? If you do, you can navigate to Settings > Markets to check if the correct regions on your store have been activated. If a region you wish to sell to isn’t currently active on your store, you can click Manage > Activate market for the market that you’d like to activate.
I definitely understand the urgency of your issue here, so if you still can’t pinpoint where your checkout issue is stemming from, our Live Support team can help take a closer look at your account from our end. You can get in contact with our support team via our help centre here. Once logged in on the help centre, select a topic that best fits your query or situation. From there, you’ll be taken to a page with a list of relevant support articles, and you can scroll to the bottom of that page to select your preferred contact method with our team.
An online store’s checkout process is one of the most pivotal moments in a customer’s journey, so I’m glad you’ve reached out to us about the errors on your checkout. Once this issue has been resolved, it definitely pays to take a closer look at the add to cart and checkout processes on your store, to ensure that everything is running smoothly and to make this process as easy as possible for your customers. To help optimise this process, some tips that come to mind include allowing guest checkouts on your store, providing multiple payment options, and implementing accelerated checkouts.
