A Shopify store using the Symmetry theme is experiencing a pricing display bug on collection pages for sale items. The system incorrectly concatenates the sale price and original price into a single inflated figure (e.g., £36 sale price + £40 original price displays as £360,040.00 instead of £36).
Key Details:
Bug only affects collection pages; individual product pages show correct pricing
Reinstalling the theme did not resolve the issue
Screenshots demonstrate the problem across multiple sale items
Current Status:
Issue remains unresolved
At least one other user has reported experiencing the same problem
No solution has been identified yet
The merchant is concerned this display error will deter customers from clicking through to view products.

I’m using the Symmetry theme and for all my products that are on sale, the prices seem to display extra 0000’s, however, when you click on the product the correct item is displayed.
However, customers, probably won’t click on the product after seeing this huge price.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I’ve tried installing the theme again from fresh, however the same issue appears on the sale items.
On further inspection, it seems to be adding the price and comparing price figures together to create a new number on the sale collection page
So if the sale price is £36 and the original price is £40, it makes the price on display £360,040.00 rather than £36.
It only seems to be an issue for collection pages, rather than product pages. I can click on the product and it will display the right sale price of £36, however, I’m not sure a customer will want to explore a product at this increased price.
