I am using the sense theme and have the latest version. I got the Shopify filter & search and for some reason the filters are not appearing on my collection pages. The filters only appear if you search for something using the search box. I have recorded a loom video so you can see.
I have seen many youtube videos showing how to use the Shopify Filter & Search functionality and all of them the filter automatically appears on collection pages once you turn it on in shopify admin so I’m unsure what the problem is.
I don’t have a very large store with lots of products and I have OS 2.0 so I should be able to see the filters on my collection page.
Hi, @dtc1 . I’m happy to help you out with this! Are you making any other updates to your store at the moment?
The first thing I’d check to resolve this is your theme editor settings. There’s a setting that allows you to enable or disable filtering for your collection pages and it’s possible this is turned off for the theme you’re using. To double check this go to Online store > Themes > Customize (next to the Sense theme you’re working with). From here, select your Default collection page template and click the Product grid section to open that section’s settings. You will see the Enable filtering setting under the Filtering and Sorting section once you do this.
If this is enabled and you still aren’t seeing the filters when you visit your shop, we’ll need to do more troubleshooting. That being said, I took a look at your shop and it appears you’ve got the filters working on your collection pages now. If you’re still not seeing it on your end, I recommend clearing your cache and cookies and trying again. This usually resolves any browser issues effecting how your storefront is being displayed to you.
