More and more options are lost. Why?
Before I could change the footer to say something other than “Powered by Shopify”. I could also change the word “Collections” to anything I like. (On the collection list header for example).
I don’t even want to know what other language abilities are lost.
Not sure what I mean? Go to you edit languages and try and re-phrase something you knew you were able to all along… until now!
I would love to know why. I would love to know if these abilities will be restored because it is depressing! I am seriously looking at other website hosts.
Shopify themes (at least the free ones anyway) limited your creativiity to an extent. But you could at least work with them and make them your own. It was all a good trade off because Shopify is easy to use and good streamlining of processing orders.
But, if they keep taking away abilities… I don’t think I can stay.
Last but not least… Does anyone know of a fully customable theme (paid) that gives you complete control?
