Out of the last 31 checkouts initiated on my store I have only had one purchase. This is very strange as on the same days the previous week I had 15 purchases from 28 checkouts initiated and the week before that I had 8 from 19. I haven’t changed anything in the checkout process since last week and I’m still advertising exactly the same products. I’ve just placed an order myself to test it and it went through without any problems but I’m wondering if some customers are experiencing problems. I’ve spoken to a Shopify support agent and they couldn’t identify any problem. I know there are always ups and downs but this seems extreme.

- Offer loyalty points to the customers, which can keep the customers interested and induce repurchase intentions in them

Thanks for your reply but I’ve already implemented most of these points. It doesn’t explain why it was working perfectly fine before but now there has suddenly been such a dramatic decline.
Is there any reason you can think of that may have caused this? Could there be an error somewhere?

Have you made any recent changes to the website? Like - increased the prices of the products, changed return/exchange policies, made it compulsory to have an account to complete the purchase, etc.
Another possible issue could be the slow page speed of the website. Thus, consider using the PageSpeed Insights tool to check the speed of the website on desktop and mobile devices, and identify various opportunities to improve the speed and functionality of the website.
