Hi, @BABYBOOO !
Rae from Shopify here.
I appreciate you reaching out about the price difference you’re noticing. I understand how this will impact you and your customers, so I’m happy to help take a closer look into this.
To confirm, are you using compare at prices on your products? If so, you’ll need make sure that your compare at prices are higher in value than your product prices, in order for the product to register correctly as being on sale. This help document provides more details on this. It’s also important to note that Facebook and Instagram will display the lowest product price at all times, so if the compare at price is lower than the product price, the compare at price will display on these channels.
With this information in mind, please double check your product prices to ensure any compare at prices are higher in value than the product prices. If you need to edit your compare at prices and product prices in bulk, using the bulk editor is the best method for fast and easy editing.
Additionally, if you’re using the compare at price to record your supplier’s price, or the price you pay for your products, I recommend using the cost per item field for this information instead. You can add these prices to your products through the bulk editor, once you add the ‘cost per item’ property to the editor by following these steps.
If you’re not using compare at prices at all, or if your compare at prices are already higher in value than your prices, please let me know so I can continue helping out!
Hi seller,
There are a few potential reasons why the prices in your Facebook and Instagram shops may be showing up differently than the prices on your website. Here are a few things to check:
Currency Settings: Double-check that you have set the same currency in your Facebook and Instagram shops as you have on your website. If you have different currencies set, this could cause a discrepancy in the prices displayed.
Taxes and Shipping: Make sure that you have set up taxes and shipping costs consistently across all channels. If your website includes taxes or shipping costs that are not included in your Facebook and Instagram shops, this could be causing the prices to appear different.
Syncing Issues: Check that your products are fully synced and that the prices are up-to-date. Sometimes there can be a delay in syncing between your website and your Facebook and Instagram shops, so it’s worth double-checking that everything is up-to-date.
Product Variants: If you have multiple variants of a product (e.g., different colors or sizes), make sure that the prices for each variant are set correctly in both your website and your Facebook and Instagram shops.
To resolve the issue, you may need to adjust the settings in your Facebook and Instagram shops or update your website to ensure that the prices are consistent across all channels. You could also consider using a third-party integrator app such as Facebook and Instagram Shopping App, to manage your inventory and ensure that all prices are synced correctly. It’s important to address this issue promptly to avoid confusing or frustrating customers and potentially losing sales.
