This is driving me nuts. I am getting blurry image uploads on my home screens, banners, etc in Shopify. I have tried everything. I’ve used different file types, I’ve tried different color profiles, different resolutions, setting the image to the exact size, scaling the image from a larger size to the actual banner size, I have tried compression, I have tried optimization on my own as well as with tinyimg.com which optimizes specifically for Shopify. No matter what I do, the images are absolutely horrible. Even images with file sizes of 10-30kb that are flawless on my PC are trash once uploaded to Shopify. What am I missing here? I have read many forums and tried many recommendations and I’m at a loss. I’ve read Shopify automatically compresses. I am about to jump ship and go to WooCommerce. Such a headache!
