We recently integrated with a new ERP and noticed that emails like shipping confirmations and order cancelations are not triggering. Do these get triggered automatically once these actions are initiated or are they based on an API call?
For example, an order was confirmed and fulfilled but the customer never received a shipping confirmation email to let her know that the shipment is on the way. Similarly, an order was canceled since the product was no longer available but no email notification was sent out to let the customer know that it was canceled or automatically refund the customer for this purchase.
