Why are my product collections not appearing on my new basic account?

Hi all!

I just created my account, im on the basic plan for $5 a month. I struggling in creating Collections in my products and at no point have selected the automation process for this. I also have no navigation bar to display and edit my websites menu.

Is this because I messed up somewhere or am I limited in having the basic account and not Starter?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

@Kevin128 , Hope you are doing well.

for crating the collection follow the steps as mentioned below:

  • go to the shopify admin

  • click on products → select collection → click on add new collection

for adding the menu follow this steps:

  • click on online store

  • click on naviagation

  • and add the links of pages and collection in main menu

I do not have a collections tab under my products tab nor a navigation tab under my online store.

Do you think this is because I am on the basic plan?

Oh yes, there are limitations with the started plan you can just sell the product on social media and you don’t have access to the collection and online store access.

In this plan you can sell products through social and messaging apps.
