Hello!
I’m not sure what’s happening, but for some odd reason all of my product listing (listing errors) is showing that they are not showing up on Google. Never, had a problem in the years I’ve been on Shopify. How can this be resolved quickly or bulk corrections? Thank you.
Hi @sosbliss
If you are experiencing issues with your product listings not showing up on Google, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
-
Check your product feed: Make sure that your product feed is up-to-date and is being submitted to Google Merchant Center without any errors. You can check for errors in the feed by going to the Diagnostics section in Google Merchant Center.
-
Review your product data: Check that your product data is complete, accurate, and meets Google’s product data requirements. This includes information such as title, description, images, and pricing.
-
Verify your website: Make sure that your website is verified with Google Search Console and that there are no indexing or crawling issues.
-
Check for technical issues: Check for any technical issues on your website, such as broken links or missing images, that could be preventing your products from being indexed by Google.
-
Review your SEO strategy: Review your SEO strategy and ensure that you are using relevant keywords in your product titles and descriptions, and that your website is optimized for search engines.
To make bulk corrections, you can use Shopify’s bulk editor or third-party apps such as Excelify or Bulk Product Edit. These tools allow you to edit multiple product listings at once and can help you quickly make the necessary changes to your product data.
If you are still experiencing issues after trying these solutions, you may want to consult with a Shopify expert or Google Ads specialist for further assistance.
